SSBM Link is finished!!

Finally, he's done! Do you like him? It took a lot of time but it was definitely worth it ;) I might start work on WW Zelda (when I get some more thick paper) or finish Salvatore.

Left hand and arm

Link's left hand and arm came along pretty well! I'm gonna start working on the sword now.

Medli's stand

Since I didn't want to make the stand a tiny container with some plasticine on it, I made this out of a painted aerosol can cap.

Since the Wind Waker is largely based on the sea, I painted waves along the bottom of it ;)

Medli

All I've got to do now is make her legs, hands and lyre. I'll get some of it done today, so there'll be an update later today or tomorrow.

X-Acto stylus knife

Here is my new invention... the X-Acto stylus knife! I got the idea when I was trying to multi-task by cutting out stuff and playing Spirit Tracks on my DSi, as I was using the non-knife end of the X-Acto knife to: well, tap stuff. One of my old styluses kept on falling out of the DS, so I cut off the end and glued it on to the knife.
The fish fingers at the end of the vid is the setting for my new stop motion, incase you were wondering ;)

Why the long face?

The perfect face for a bored man running a a minigame stall on an island with the only appearing customer being Link.

ST Link base finished

Here it is... you will realise that a glue gun can also be very useful to a papercrafter ;)

P.S. Sorry about my hair; I didn't realise it got in the way.

Animation finished!

I'm trying to cram a lot of things in to this evening because I should go to bed earlier so I can wake up earlier for the camp, but who cares. I finally got the titles to work, so here's the finished product!

Sheild, sheath and arm

The only thing I regret doing is not to glue parts 62 and 63 to the inside of his tunic. At the time, I thought "Why would I need to glue these bit in here?" Now I realise. It's to glue the arm to the torso, but I can still sort of get it to stay, so I guess it'll be fine. :D

Link's head

All I've got to do now is build his arms, shield and sword!
Stay tuned!

And now........ a BIG update :D

Phew! After a lot of work on SSB:M Link, here's how far I've got!

Saturday, 20 February 2010

The torso is nearly finished!

I'll pobably get the rest of the tunic finished today.

Stay tuned!

ANOTHER side project? You gotta be kidding me...

While looking at the papercraft I have made, I came across these guys. Can anyone take a guess as to what they are?

P.S. I'm pretty sure ninjatoes will know ;)

Spirit Tracks boxart finished!

The chimney is a bit too light, but I think it looks really good ;)

LoZ: ST boxart

I was bored, so I decided to try and draw the front of the Spirit Tracks boxart. I think it came out pretty well, apart from Link's and Zelda's faces, because I'm not very good at drawing toon-Zelda style.

Miffy!!!

Miffy is my adorable little hamster! She's about 1½ years old ;)
